Tamesa Oasis is currently inactive and will not be holding any meetings in the near future. This website remains available as it contains many useful resources and information about O.T.O and links to further reading.
The name Tamesa comes from the original Celtic name for the river Thames and means ‘the dark one’ or ‘dark Isis’.
Tamesa was a local body of Ordo Templi Orientis based in Reading, Berkshire, serving the Thames Valley region of Great Britain. There are many local bodies throughout the UK and the rest of the world, a list of UK bodies can be found on the UK Grand Lodge website. If you are interested in joining the Order you may find our guide to applying for initiation useful and it is possible to see the kinds of activities that were held during the time Tamesa Oasis was open on our previous events page (please note that events will vary from one local body to another and these are merely examples of the events that were held in Reading).
