Tamesa Oasis will be holding a day long class in the arts of Tai Chi and Qi Gong on Sunday 15th July.

We have a qualified teacher coming to offer us a taste of this ancient martial art as a form of meditation. Tai Chi is a ‘moving meditation’, by focussing the mind solely on the movements to bring about a state of mental calm and clarity.

This is a very gentle form of exercise that is suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities and requires no previous experience of meditation or martial arts.

The class will run all day beginning at 11.30am and ending at 7pm, however if you would like to attend only the morning session when we will be focusing on Qi Gong which is designed to synchronise the breathing with the movement of the body then that would be feasible.

We will be breaking for lunch during the day so please bring food to sustain you for the duration and wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing suitable for ease of movement.
