This Saturday 9th December we will be celebrating ‘Mithrasmas’!

All O.T.O and E.G.C members are invited to join us in performing a group ritual adapted from a ritual from the 4th century AD to the pre-Christian solar deity Mithras. This may well be the first performance of this ritual in centuries.
The temple will be transformed into a Mithraeum, the traditional temple of Mithras worship centered around the Tauroctony, an artistic depiction of the god slaying the sacred bull from which wheat and seeds came forth and created all the loveliness of nature.
More information on Mithras can be found here.

It is set to be a very interesting alternative seasonal celebration open to O.T.O and E.G.C members only.
The temple will be open from 12pm onwards, if you would like to take part in this ritual please contact us for more information.

This will be Tamesa Oasis’ last event of 2006.
There will be many more meetings to come in 2007 including initiations, more group ritual and Gnostic Masses.
