On Sunday 9th December 2007 we will be holding a celebratory solstice meal at a beautiful old pub close to the Oasis that has the most excellent food, open fires and warm welcome. This meal has now been booked. To inquire about any space at the table please contact the Oasis secretary.

This meal is open to O.T.O. members as well as friends and family, providing they are over 18 years of age. The cost of the meal is £21 excluding drinks (sparkling water will be provided by the Oasis).

The menu for the meal is:

Starter:
Wild Mushroom Tart (vegetarian)
Sauteed garlic wild mushrooms on crisp puff pastry.

Scottish Smoked Salmon
With brown bread, butter and horseradish cream.

Homemade Smoked Haddock Chowder
Served with crisp pain the champagne.

Free Range Breckland Duck Salad
With roasted beetroot and sour cream.

Main Course:

All (except for the vegetarian option) are served with potatoes roasted
in goose fat, mash, honey roasted carrots and parsnips and buttered sprouts.

Roast Lincolnshire Turkey and British Ham
With all the trimmings.

Wild Scottish Highland Pheasant
Wrapped in bacon with a rich red wine sauce.

Scottish Salmon Wellington
Salmon with cream cheese and rocket, encased in puff pastry.

35 Day Matured 8oz British Sirlion
With a caramelised shallot sauce.

Creamy Risotto (vegetarian)
With honey roasted root vegetables.

Dessert:

Christmas Pudding
With brandy sauce.

Poached Pears
With raspberry coulis and Chanel Island extra thick double cream.

Chocolate Tart
With Chanel Island extra thick double cream.

Rum Baba
With Chanel Island extra thick double cream.

The full amount is payable on the day of the meal, cancellations within 24 hours may be liable for the full cost of the meal.
